A Communist Agroecology

A session in partial response to Angry Workers of the World‘s “Insurrection and Production“. How can a region like Great Britain, currently dependent upon imports for almost half of its total food supply, break with capitalist market relations while simultaneously avoiding the real possibility of famine? To what extent can engagement with movements for sustainable agriculture (permaculture and agroecology in particular) better equip us to confront these challenges? A presentation and discussion.
