There are different municipalist traditions and strains, such as Bookchin’s libertarian municipalism, the Apoist paradigm, municipal experiments in Kurdistan, Cooperation Jackson’s revolutionary strategy in the US, as well as The Right to the City’s movement, municipal socialism in the UK, and the Fearless Cities movement. We want to learn and draw on these traditions and at the same time think about our own geographies and contexts. This session will introduce and debate these different strategies to think about future strategic directions and demands.

Refunds policy:
We will be able to provide full refunds up till the Monday 31st July, half refunds up to to Monday 14th August, and nothing thereafter. However, once tickets sell out and we have a waiting list we will be happy to facilitate ticket exchanges.
